Quote of the day from Clay Shirky’s Cognitive Surplus:

I love the idea of classroom as “intellectual hothouse.”
Another one I liked was when I met Clay in the course of my work at the Channel. He referred to the way we worked together as a “brains trust” – that we took care of getting the knowledge out of our building in the same way as a trust would help grow and nurture funds to be released out.
