Seems I can’t say enough about wordpress and wordpress plugins these days.
Many teachers keep blogs in their classrooms these days where they post links and questions for the folks they are teaching. But one wordpress plugin lets you add content to a post that will only show up when you want it, and then make it fade away when the time’s up.
For example, lets say that you want to post a test, or an assignment for the students in your class, and you want them to complete that task on Wednesday or Thursday. In the past, you would have had to write a post, go back at the specified time and upload the document or task that you wanted to share with your students, and then, when the time expired, you would have to return and delete the time sensitive content.
Now, with one plugin, you can write a post, have ti show up at a certain time and then have it delete itself when the time is up. Called Before and After, this plugin will let you do just that.
Before and After adds an extra icon to your wordpress toolbar that lets you activate the plugin
Next you simply select the text that you want to show up on a schedule and set the parameters for that to happen
and this is what the final product looks like
Simple and easy. Just as wordpress plugins are supposed to be.
