I’m always on the look out for new ways to teach kids about technology and helping them to understand how things operate using language and activities they will understand.
This is why I was interested when I ran into Mozilla Webmaker’s latest addition to an already impressive list of resources.
The lo – fi, no – fi teaching kit has lists of simple lessons that will help kids to understand html, pseudo code and even has pdfs to help students plan out a mobile app.
High tech teaching and high tech concepts don’t always require extreme bandwidth. Many places in the world also simply don’t have reliable internet access so these activities can be used world wide.
Along with an ever expanding list of tools and resources, Moziila once again proves it’s commitment to the open web and ensuring it stays alive.
